Certified Tutor

I am a graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University where I am studying Public Administration. Before I enrolled in school, I traveled to Beijing, China, where I taught Language Arts, Pre-Algebra, and Environmental Science at an international school. While I lived in Beijing, China, I enjoyed traveling to famous landmarks such as the Great Wall and Summer Palace. In addition to teaching at an international school, I spent my time tutoring English to elementary students at a private academy. My expertise teaching English includes grammar, writing, and speaking. I also enjoy teaching math because I can make the subject interesting by using real-life examples. As a graduate student, I value education and I believe good knowledge should be shared when possible. I am passionate about helping a wide variety of students, from students who struggle with basic concepts in math and reading to students who excel in their class. When I have spare time, I like to travel around Richmond and explore new restaurants.
