Certified Tutor

I am a native speaker of Chinese. I have an M.A. degree in Chinese from Middlebury College and a certification for teaching Chinese from Columbia University. I worked as a Chinese Teacher at a high school in Shanghai, an immersion program for young children, and a community college in New York City. I have taught children and adults, individually and in a classroom environment. My teaching is centered on the needs of my students. I have tutored students who were struggling with learning Chinese and have gotten great results with them. I believe that language Teachers should act as facilitators who help students to reach their full potential in language learning. I am patient, dedicated, and experienced. In my spare time, I like reading, Yoga, and travel.
