I graduated from Cal State Northridge University with my bachelors in Child Development. I then taught English as a second language overseas for 4 years (in the Middle East and Turkey). This is my sixth year teaching elementary school and my second working for Clark County School District. I really enjoy working with kindergarten through second grade students. My expertise is in reading fluency, reading comprehension, phonics, and math. I try to make learning fun for my students and like to zero in on their interests quickly as I feel this will help keep them motivated while being tutored. My hobbies include reading, going to the gym and travelling.
