Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Literary & Media Studies with a focus on writing and reading. I was born in Sweden but grew up in England as a British Citizen and moved to Las Vegas in 2010 as a military wife. I was a journalist and writer for 12 years. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, tutoring children in Romania, at the English for Asia Centre in Macau, China, and adults in Japan looking to improve their English (as I am a certified ESL instructor). While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, Reading, Writing, Phonics in Early Learning and Early Learning Science. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, spending time with my 6 year old and writing articles for international websites.
