Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Morgan State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Since graduation, I have been working full time in the Government Advisory Group of a national accounting firm traveling nationwide. In addition to my full time job, I also volunteer with various non-profit entities, many of which I serve in a mentoring capacity and one in which I serve as a volunteer teaching financial literacy from elementary students to young adults. I am an active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) candidate who has successfully passed all four sections of the uniform CPA exam. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Accounting and other business related subjects. I have excelled in financial accounting, intermediate accounting, advanced accounting, tax accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, and government and not for profit accounting. In my experience with helping struggling students, I believe that I have succeeded because of my ability to break down advance subjects into layman terms and relate the information in an understandable manner. I am a strong advocate of learning as I relate it to the natural rights of all men; life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I believe that knowledge along with action is the key to all success.
