I graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology . I am currently continuing my education and studying Occupational Therapy. I have worked in medicine for over ten years, where I have had the opportunity to specialize in areas such as Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, as well as many other areas. For many years, I worked along side an Electrophysiologist where I routinely performed all of the Exercise Treadmill Tests, Electrocardiograms, Rhythm Strip Interpretations, and Pacemaker/Defibrillator Checks.

The structure and function of the human body can sometimes be fairly problematic for some students to initially comprehend.

Generally, this issue derives from the overwhelming amount of information that keeps accumulating throughout the semester, and as a result, the student falls behind. In addition, that overwhelming feeling and stress often leads to an inhibitory process of learning. In other words, when you are stressed-out and overwhelmed, you don't learn as well.

And some of the most important keys for success in a class like this is:

-staying on top on the information

-organization

-and keeping an optimistic attitude throughout the semester.

I have been able to help students obtain extremely high scores on exams. Although that aspect is not what I consider to be my most distinctive quality . What I consider to be a distinctive quality is my ability to get students to think about the material to the point where they no longer have to rely on memorization and regurgitation. By being able to think about the material and draw mental pictures, generally the student, no longer has to stress on memorizing all of the information. Although, learning is a two-way-street. The student must be willing to put in the time.
