I recently completed a Biology degree from William Patterson University. In addition I completed an Associate's degree in Natural Science and Math. I finished a one year vocational school and worked for three years as an Electronic Systems Technician. For the past two years at WPUNJ I took part in a Independent Study research program involving creating a genetic phylogeny of trap-jaws ants. I have been working as a tutor in WPUNJ Science Enrichment Center for the past two years, teaching all the core undergraduate classes for Biology majors as well as Pre-Nursing classes. Working, school, and many part time jobs have kept me busy for the past few years. Currently I am studying for MCAT, ultimately my goal is to enter the medical field particularly Neurology. I enjoy all sports, basketball, and weight lifting is what I most commonly participate in while at the gym. I also enjoy reading all types literature. I believe being motivated to further one's education allows an individual to have more control over their future. Learning should be an enjoyable experience. It should create a deeper understanding of the world and oneself. Having big dreams and working hard to achieve them provides an individual more choices and opportunities in life. Tutoring (teaching) boils down to communication and making connections between ideas. For the past two years I have successfully helped a very wide range of people pursue their academic goals in a multitude of subjects.
