Certified Tutor

Originally from Westchester County, I went to Oberlin College for my undergrad and then completed the University of Vermont Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program this past year. I love studying Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Microbiology, and Biochemistry, and I have experience tutoring students in these subjects from the middle school to the undergraduate level. Although I typically tutor students in the Biological Sciences and Chemistry, I am also able to tutor students in elementary and middle school math. I am able to work with students on MCAT preparation and can help you achieve the score you want by focusing on how to properly approach the problems and hitting all the necessary bases with content review.

For my teaching style, I like to teach students how to best approach and understand complex concepts with confidence so that they will build up the skill set required to solve and understand problems effortlessly. I believe in a personalized approach to tutoring and always customize my lessons based on the student's learning style and academic goals. By eliminating areas of weakness through carefully tailored lesson plans, we will be sure to cover all the bases so that you can achieve the high test scores and grades that you deserve. My goal is to get you to love learning science and I will be sure to put in all the effort required for you to succeed in this regard.

When I'm not studying or working, I enjoy power-lifting, running, listening to and playing music, reading, spending time outside at a park or beach, cooking, and traveling abroad whenever possible.
