Certified Tutor

I graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting emphasis) and with High Honors and Distinction in my major. I earned a Certified Public Accounting license in 1982 after working for CPA firms. I lived in Australia for seven years, during which time I began working in financial management for non profit organizations.

I continued this type of work in the San Francisco Bay Area for twenty years before taking up work in education. Last semester I tutored a SF City College student in accounting. In the past, I tutored students in junior high school math and social studies. Recently, I earned California Adult Education and Career Technical Education teaching credentials.

I am most interested in tutoring accounting, having worked in the profession for many years. I love people and enjoy helping them learn.

In my spare time, I love to travel and meet people around the world. I have been to about 35 countries and have worked with people from many more. I embrace cultural diversity and interfaith cooperation.
