Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Binghamton University with a BA in Mathematics, and I am looking forward to pursuing my career as a math teacher. I have years of experience working with children and young adults as a camp counselor, tutor, and mentor. I have tutored Math and Italian, but I am most comfortable tutoring in Math (at all levels).

I worked as a private mentor with an eleven year old student for my last semester at Binghamton which has furthered my experience in one on one tutoring, and I have come to see myself as an outstanding role model to younger students.

I know how frustrating it can be to not understand a topic in class and know the panic of falling behind. It is my goal as a tutor and teacher to help students overcome this fear with patience and a passion for teaching.

I love working with kids inside and outside of an academic setting. I love doing crafts, meeting people, laughing, and organizing activities. I have worked at a summer camp at home for seven years and was promoted to head counselor in 2011.

I look forward to working with you and helping your child succeed whether it is just brushing up on some old topics or starting from scratch with a very challenging subject. Learning is fun and school should be enjoyable. Doing well in your classes is the first place to start in order to create a fun and memorable school experience.
