Certified Tutor

I am currently finishing my Master degree in Public Health at the University of Texas and planning to apply next year for my doctorate. I am originally from Lebanon and came to the United States to fulfill my dreams. I am fluent in three languages: Arabic, French and English. I have a chemistry degree and a minor in biology from Northern Arizona University. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I was very blessed excelling in my classes and I had the privilege tutoring for the Multicultural Engineering program at Northern Arizona University. I helped a lot of engineering students succeeding in their math, physics, and biology and chemistry subjects. I had as well private sessions for students and professors who had the desire to learn French and Arabic.
Besides tutoring, I experienced the art of research in three different laboratories in Northern Arizona University and in Baylor College of medicine: the Biophysics Laboratory, the Microbial and Genomic Laboratory and the Cell Biology Laboratory. I enjoyed designing experiments and working on different instruments. The link between theory and practice, the methodical laboratory preparations, and the tangible results of successful experiments, all seemed to strengthen and solidify my tutoring skills in science.
I believe “The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one” (Malcolm S. Forbes). It is a joy for me to make a difference in people’s life though education.
