The student and I reviewed for the high school graduation test. We reviewed the algebra and data analysis sections. I left her with detailed notes and two algebraic assignments to be completed by our next session, which will be midweek. She is making good progress!

The student and I spent an hour and a half preparing for his math test. He has a good grasp of virtually all the topics, and is well prepared to succeed on the test. We will continue to work on studying on Monday evening.

The student and I covered infinite geometric series and their end behavior, i.e. whether they converge to a limit or not. We went over how to determine if infinite series have a limit by analyzing their partial sums. She showed the best understanding of the material so far and was able to quickly identify which infinite sums have limits and which don't. It was a great session.

Today we solved problems involving forces, free body diagrams, forces in 2 dimensions, Newton's first and second laws, and tension forces under angles. She is reporting solid grades in her physics class, and likes solving physics problems.

The student has a test before our next session, so we had an online session. Right now, he's learning about calculations involving triangles and their altitudes/medians/circumcenters. We will meet again on Monday.
