Tutoring review by Phillip Carlo in Richardson, TX
Covered exponents and scientific notation. The student made progress on not just regular (positive) exponents but also negative and fractional ones. Tutoring review by Kendra in Richardson, TX
The student is just getting started with angles and triangles in class. I came prepared with worksheets that gave her practice with solving equations and finding angles. We worked with finding angles in regard to parallel lines and angles around a point. She did very well overall, and just needs to look closely at the problems before beginning, because she sometimes misses some short-cuts. We will keep practicing finding missing angles, and I will bring some more difficult triangle worksheets to our next several sessions.

Tutoring review by Edgar in Richardson, TX
The student completed his textbook homework by first learning the lesson chapter 1 provided. He now knows the difference between when to use gustar vs. when to use gustan. They both mean "to like" but we use gustar when liking one singular item but use gustan to refer to multiple things. Next, we learned how to use "tener." As a very important verb that means "to have," he learned the conjugation of this verb and completed the exercises provided.
