The student is working on Chap 9: studying probability and making sample spaces. We reviewed the first sections of Chap 9--how to find the probability of single events, how to calculate complementary probabilities--they always add up to one, and how to make sample sets and use them to determine probable outcomes. We will work on reviewing his current work and past work in earlier chapters of the book to help him prepare for end of year tests.

Today the student and I worked on a practice biology test since she takes it on Tuesday. She was able to answer many of the questions correctly! Those she was unsure of we took apart and looked at each answer. We identified why each answer choice was correct or incorrect and then made a final decision. She said that she understood the underlying logic for these problems. We then went over an extensive study guide and when asked questions about the material, she was able to answer all but 2. Overall, I feel like she is very prepared for the test and just needs to ask herself why a certain answer choice may be incorrect before coming to a final decision.
