Currently, I am a Teacher Resident at the NYU Accelerated MAT program in Secondary English Education. This means that come September, I will be an ELA teacher working at a NY Public School. I'm Anna! I'm currently a student in the MD/MBA program between Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and the Kellogg School of Management, and graduated from Northwestern University as part of the Honors Program in Medical Education. I attended the Bergen County Academies in New Jersey, a selective, application-based magnet school, for high school.

I am a dentist who recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. I have always been a tutor driven by a desire to help the student understand the course material beyond the scope of the class and syllabus. I majored in Biology during my undergraduate career, and so I am strongest in math and science courses. I tutor all ages from elementary school to those who are applying for graduate programs. I have helped students for the past 5 years in Biology, Chemistry, and Math at the collegiate and high school level. I also enjoy preparing students for entrance exams such as the ACT, SAT, or DAT. Inviting all those who are curious to learn and hungry to achieve more to connect with me for an ever-enthralling journey up the learning curve!

I am an undergraduate student at Harvard University! I am studying history and linguistics, and plan to teach English abroad for a few years post-graduation. Though I enjoy tutoring a wide range of subjects, I have the most experience helping students with their writing. I would love to help you improve your writing skills in general, or to look at specific essays or papers. I also enjoy tutoring English/ Language Arts more broadly, including ESL, and math. I do hold a TEFL certificate. I try to keep lessons with students interesting, because I think it's really hard to learn when you don't enjoy what you're learning! I hope to work with you to develop lesson plans that are curated to your goals and interests.

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in violin performance at the Juilliard School. I have tutored privately and through Chegg Tutoring, Varsity Tutors, PrepExpert, and iLearn World throughout high school and college, with most of my experience being in standardized test prep and English. The most fulfilling moments that I have with my students are when I see them applying previous lessons and skills to new challenges. I believe that a good teacher not only helps a student tackle specific, formulaic kinds of questions, but also imparts the skills necessary for adapting to the diverse intellectual challenges that life presents. My goal is always for my students to leave their sessions having learned something that will be useful for years to come, not just on the next test that they are preparing for. After all, education is a lifelong process!

I am a senior in the honors college at the University of Georgia, where I have a full tuition Zell Miller Scholarship, as well as a National Merit Scholarship and a Woodruff Scholarship. I am majoring in psychology and mathematics with a minor in German. In addition to my studies, I am active in the Psi Chi International Psychology Honor Society and a German language social program, and am heavily involved in social psychology research. Additionally I have received several awards for my performance in my math classes at UGA.

I am a student at Duke University studying English, Entrepreneurship, and Photography. I have several years of experience tutoring privately and volunteering as an assistant teacher for elementary school children aged 4-10 years old. I am available to tutor English at all pre-collegiate levels. This may include anything from learning letters to improving in-depth writing and analysis skills. I am also available to tutor Mathematics at an elementary school level. Outside of school, I spend my time reading, running my photography business, hanging out with my dog, and babysitting.

I am a graduate of Dartmouth College where I majored in History. I also received my M.Ed. from Boston College so that I could become a middle school and high school social studies teacher. Currently, I am working concurrently on my JD (at Duke University) and my Ph.D. in Education (at Boston College) and hope to one day combine the two degrees by working in policy. I have tutored or been in the education field my entire life and love it when I am able to help a scholar learn something new. I love to tutor a broad range of subjects but primarily focus on History and English. I particularly love working with scholars on their college essays and finding ways to get their unique voice and experience into writing. Education is crucial and it is important to work with scholars so that they realize the vast amount of knowledge there is in the world. The most important thing I've learned from those two fields (and the thing I'd most want to pass on to students) is how to find the right words for thoughts - this is important, not just because it allows people to express themselves well to others, but also because it affords clarity to people regarding their own opinions and ideas. Shortly after I graduated from college I embarked on an extended trip around Europe lasting from October 2017 to May 2018. My interests include traveling, piano, and reading.
