I have earned a dual Bachelor's of Arts degree in education and history from Ottawa University in Phoenix. I have a Standard K-12 Secondary Education Certificate in history with an endorsement in Structured English Immersion (SEI) and a cross-categorical special education, earned from the University of Phoenix. I also received extensive training and professional development in leading and facilitating Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Response to Intervention (RtI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and teaching and learning for cognitive rigor using questioning and inquiry-based facilitation. I am a history buff who also enjoys Star Wars, Marvel, all things New York Yankees and Phoenix Suns. I have traveled to Aurba, Bora Bora, Tahiti, Moorea, Mexico and Israel (twice).
