About Me

I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and University of Illinois at Chicago. I received my Doctor of Pharmacy and also Master of Public Health. Additionally, I completed my residency training at Midwestern University. I am board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS).For over 10 years I have taught and mentored pharmacy technicians preparing for national certification and mentored pharmacists throughout experential education as well. I have tutored several pharmacists preparing for the NAPLEX, with a 100% pass rate for all pharmacists I have tutored. In addition, have tutored several pharmacy techicians preparing for the PTCE, with a 100% pass rate for all pharmact technicians I have tutored. I currently teach a pharmacy calculations course and a pharmacotherapy course on the university level. In addition, I tutor a broad range of subjects, however I am most passionate about pharmacy practice (especially pharmacy calculations) and clinical pharmacy areas such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, HIV, and specialty medications for disease states such as psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. My experience also has helped learners with challenges related to testing taking skills for NAPLEX, PTCE, NHA CPhT certification exams. I have a love for learning and teaching and encourage all my students to become life-long learners.
