About Me

My name is Ana Maria Rico Londoo, and I'm a creative, fun, engaging Spanish teacher! I have 5 years of experience working with children and adults of all ages in Colombia, France and the United States, both in person and online. Through my teaching experiences and studies, I have focus on student-centered instruction, critical pedagogy, communicative approach and the use of authentic material. These are concepts that have a main role in my teaching practice due to the positive results and effectiveness that I have evidenced in my students' learning process as users of a language, regardless their age or language proficiency. My passion for language and intercultural connections inspired me to pursue a BA in Foreign Language Education at the University of Antioquia in Medellin, Colombia. Since my graduation in 2016, I have worked as a Language teacher in Colombia, France and the United States. I am certain that my unique experiences, skills, love of languages and culture can provide the highest language education to help my students accomplish their goals.
