Nice to meet you! My name is Sarah and I am an OTR/L with my Master's in Occupational Therapy. I have a passion for teaching students, as well as providing mentorship to assist in achieving practical application of occupational therapy principles, and of course, to help students pass the NBCOT.
To follow my passion of teaching even more, I started social media platforms to provide NBCOT prep as well as teaching students about inpatient and acute settings, in addition to occupational therapy in pediatrics.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from George Mason University and my Master's degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Currently, I tutor in occupational therapy and NBCOT prep mainly, but also tutor in kinesiology and anatomy and physiology.
Occupational therapy/NBCOT prep are my favorite subjects to tutor in!
My teaching philosophy and style is flexible in that my goal is to create a space that is individualized to the student and to accommodate their learning style. I believe that incorporating and structuring the learning environment around the learning style of the student is the best way to promote optimal conditions of learning and studying.
In my spare time, I love to hike with my husband and dog, play volleyball, read, and shop!
