About Me

Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Nancy, a math and art lover. Other than my love for art and math I also enjoy various other activities such as playing soccer and volleyball, cooking and baking, studying, and much more. Through out the years I grew to love tutoring also. I started tutoring ever since my freshman year of High School. I would tutor fellow classmates in subjects such as algebra, physics, calculus 1, and chemistry. I later was fortunate enough to obtain a Supplemental Instructor position at my university's math department. I attended Concordia University Chicago and was the Supplemental Instructor for a Fundamentals of Math course. I was able to tutor students and build activities that would help them understand their course work better. I was also lucky enough to take over class lessons and teach! The best thing of all is that I developed a great relationship with everyone of them. I have done tutoring for almost 6 years and am hoping to continue doing it. I enjoy helping people understand concepts and sharing with them my tips and tricks. I am glad Varsity Tutors gave me the opportunity to continue doing something I enjoy and I hope to help others!
