I received my Bachelor in Arts degree concentrating in Music from New Jersey City University. Additionally, received my Associates in Arts degree concentrating in Music from Bergen Community College.
Initially, I wanted to become a Music Teacher in New Jersey's Public School, but also enjoyed traveling. Therefore, I decided to teach abroad.
I was working as an ESL teacher in South Korea for 2 years. As a teacher, I took care of many daily tasks such as lesson planning, coordinating events and classroom management to ensure the smooth and efficient day or week of teaching, providing support for professional and management staff.
I very much enjoyed being a teacher as a Second Language that I decided to further my education and take a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). This course has opened my eyes as an ESL teacher. It helped me learn much more from the students point of views and how I could help them excel in the language.
Because of my background, I am fluent in Spanish.
I would like to bring my strong work ethic and communication skill that I have displayed throughout my career.
