I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors in Music Performance along with having studied Spanish and Translation and Interpretation. I have also volunteered as a Spanish medical interpreter as well. Currently, I am a student of the Academia Buenos Aires, where I went to school for three months last year and stayed with an Argentinean host mother in order to improve my language skills. Because of my experiences of a being a Spanish student, I place a strong emphasis on error recognition and believe that my becoming more aware or the errors we make, the more we are able to avoid making the same mistakes in the future. I am comfortable working with students with different goals whether it be passing a test for a high school course or if you need to prepare for travel in Latin America. Also, I am a firm believer in tailoring lessons to individual learning styles and preferences in order to help students meet their goals. In my free time, I like to exercise as well as Skype with different people all over the world.
