I am also NY state certified and have my masters in education. I believe in using a variety of techniques including direct and inquiry based teaching. Prior to teaching I worked in financial services for about a decade. I also have a masters in business administration (MBA) and currently pursuing a masters in Business Analytics.

I am a Biochemistry student in my junior year at Lehigh University. I have taken general chemistry, organic chemistry, cell biology, genetics, and calculus courses at Lehigh. I am a supportive tutor hoping to teach students how to think about scientific learning as well as guide students throughout their learning process.

I am tutoring tax (REG, TCP, EA and college-level) and Series 7. My approach is that I will offer an explanation of the topic, then get into working through questions. I have tutored tax for hundreds of hours at this point and most students seem to like my easy-going and enthusiastic approach.

I am quite experienced in all other areas of mathematics as well. Since mathematics is such a conceptual subject, I find that by understanding misconceptions and errata, one might gain a better appreciation for the subject. Under this philosophy, I wish students to understand their errors fully, rather than simply being corrected when mistakes are made. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy playing table tennis, video games, and reading.
