I am a premedical student majoring in biology and psychology attending Union College in upstate New York, as part of the 8-year combined "Leadership in Medicine" program with Albany Medical College. Since as early as elementary school, math has been my favorite academic subject, and most of my tutoring experience has been in tutoring math. I enjoy math of all kinds, from algebra to geometry to higher-level mathematics like calculus and statistics, and I find the problems to be like fun mini puzzles where there are different strategies to arrive at the correct answer. I hope to use my skills and experience with math to help clarify confusing concepts and give students the tools they need to solve complex problems. Outside of math, I am also proficient in essay editing and test prep (SAT, ACT, PSAT, AP). I have worked as a college admissions essay editor for over a year and edited essays for students who were accepted to top schools like CalTech, Northwestern, and Northeastern. I would be happy to share editing samples upon request. On both the SAT and ACT exams, I scored in the 99th percentile, with a perfect score on my ACT. It would be a rewarding experience for me to play a part in helping you maximize your academic potential.

I am expecting to complete my PhD within the year. I offer tutoring for English or AP English classes, and writing assignments for any class at any level, as well as SAT, GRE and GRE Literature preparation.
I am beginning work as a management consultant in the engineering space this summer (2020).
I'm infinitely curious, always exploring and learning more about the people around me and how the world works.
I am very flexible, self-reflective and resourceful. My broad range of clients (ADHD students, international students, children, teenagers and adults who are in professional fields) have given me the opportunity to develop crucial traits such as patience, dedication and empathy.
Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension make up three-quarters of the LSAT, and both reward the kind of precise close reading Elizabeth practices daily as an English major. She unpacks argument structures — identifying conclusions, assumptions, and flaws — using the same analytical toolkit she applies to literary and rhetorical texts. Her 1490 SAT demonstrates the standardized-test instincts she brings to timed exam strategy.
My name is Sameer Sahai, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington. With over 3 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in subjects such as SAT, Algebra 2, AP Calculus AB, AP Computer Science A, and AP Physics C: Mechanics. My teaching philosophy centers on recognizing that each student learns differently; I tailor my lesson plans to meet individual needs, ensuring that concepts are both accessible and engaging. I am passionate about helping students build their confidence in math and science, as I believe that understanding these subjects opens doors to future opportunities. In addition to my tutoring experience, I have volunteered at a Hindi school, where I developed my skills in adapting to diverse learning styles. Outside of academics, I enjoy programming and leading coding clubs, which further fuels my enthusiasm for teaching.
I am a graduating senior at Northeastern University working toward a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. I have more than a year's experience of substitute teaching for grades K-12, and I have taught in less formal settings as a camp counselor, a youth mentor, and a captain on sports teams. I find great joy in teaching and helping others, and I especially enjoy helping people with their writing skills or ACT/SAT prep. I wholeheartedly believe that everybody deserves access to the most effective education and that learning is a lifelong experience, and I hope that my students grow to believe the same. By treating students with respect and attempting to truly make a connection with them, I get the privilege of seeing the enthusiasm light up in their eyes, which is a wonderful feeling. In my spare time, I love reading, writing, running, exploring the outdoors, and watching and playing all kinds of sports (especially Ultimate Frisbee and ice hockey).
I'm a Computer Science and Law, Societies, and Justice major at the University of Washington. I've tutored K12 students across a wide range of subjects, including district curriculum, AP courses, and SAT/ACT preparation. I also founded a volunteer tutoring program focused on dual-language support in Mandarin and English. I'm passionate about helping students reach their full potential because I believe education should be accessible to all and that every student has a right to it. My core tutoring areas include English at all levels, math from elementary through SAT, and history. I'm excited to help you succeed in a way that's meaningful for you. I look forward to connecting with you and learning alongside you!
I am a professional scientist with multiple years of experience in the biopharmaceutical field. I have spent time in the classroom with elementary aged students and am comfortable with this age group. I am also familiar with AP classes and ACT/SAT preparation. I look forward to sharing my love of learning with students and helping them achieve academic goals!
I'm a biochemistry major at Northeastern University. I love math and science, and like to work with kids and teens on those subjects. I have also worked in an ESL classroom, and am available to help with reading and writing skills. I look forward to working with you!
I'm a huge Red Sox fan and love watching detective shows when I have free time.
