Hello! I am a high school English teacher specializing in EOC Prep to prepare students to take the 10th grade state exams as well as teaching 9th-12th grade English literature and writing.

I believe that education is the most certain way to create success. However, I also understand that our current school system is not tailored to help individual students. As such, I aim to give students the extra help they need but cannot get in the classroom. I am in school at Grand Canyon University and am working on obtaining a degree in Elementary Education. I currently work full-time as a literacy interventionist in a local elementary school. I'm very good at staying organized and enjoy most school subjects.

I am a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught full time for three years. I have taught preschool, third, fourth and fifth grade students. The last two years I have been in a resource classroom teaching reading and writing. I earned a bachelor's degree in Finance, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Illinois Champagne-Urbana. As an undergraduate student, I also studied at la Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina and la Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador as a participant in cultural exchange programs. I lived in Quito, Ecuador for 6 years, working as a freelance translator, interpreter, and English tutor, as well as an English teacher. I have a master's degree in Education from Grand Canyon University, and I have been teaching Spanish since 2014. I have experience teaching groups and individuals virtually and started doing online education in 2019. I love teaching Spanish and hope to impart the same enthusiasm and passion to my students!
