I'm currently a Sophomore at Cedar Crest College who is working towards a BA in Global Studies with a dual concentration in Economics/International Business and Religion/Culture. I am also double minoring in Biology and Religious Studies.I tutor a whole slew of subjects all ranging from English and History to Algebra and Biology. Despite tutoring broad range of subjects, I find myself most passionate about History and English!I believe that the most important thing that one can absolutely attain for oneself is one's education. A balanced foundation in life first comes with knowledge of the world, both big and small. I am here to make sure that every student gets the opportunity to harness such knowledge.

I am currently a 7th grade math teacher at Lyons Community School in Brooklyn, NY. I have been in that position for 2 years. I greatly enjoy my job as a teacher and mentor for my students. When I am not teaching, I enjoy exercising and right now I am training for my first half-marathon. I also enjoy watching documentaries and classic movies. I look forward to working with your child!

I have wanted to teach since I was 5 years old! I earned my Masters in education, as well as my TESOL for working with English Language Learners. I taught elementary school for 19 years, giving me experience with special needs, speech issues, ELLs, and learning disabled students. I then began teaching online, which I have done for 7 years. I have taught all ages from preschool through adults. I especially love teaching reading to struggling elementary students. I love to show students that they can learn to read! I enjoy building a relationship with my students. I feel this is important because when children are comfortable and respected, they can learn more easily. I am a graduate of Cedar Crest College. I received my Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies also studying early education. While in school I worked at Child Care Center working with kids 1 years old to 8th grade. Mainly working with preschool pre k and grades kindergarten to third grade. I also student taught teaching 2nd grade students with IEPs science and math.I am most passionate about science and math. While working with students at the child care center and student teaching I always prioritize that each student is an individual and learn different ways so teaching the student is individualized.
