Bilal

Currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Arizona State University, I bring a unique blend of enthusiasm and expertise to my teaching approach. By actively engaging with them and maintaining open lines of communication, I help build their confidence and improve their skills in reading, writing, and grammar. Being bilingual in French and English allows me to connect with diverse learners, and my personal experience navigating education helps me empathize with students' struggles. I look forward to guiding my students toward their academic goals. I hold both French and American citizenship, which has given me a strong cultural foundation in both countries. I speak French with a native French-sounding accent and English with a native American accent, allowing me to communicate naturally and effectively in both languages and cultural contexts. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals and grow in confidence. I have experience working with students of all ages and adapting my teaching approach to meet individual needs. In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I offer test preparation support for exams such as the GED, IB, and AP. Whether you're looking to build foundational skills or prepare for a major test, I'm here to help guide you every step of the way. Cooking I specialize in helping students build confidence in the kitchen, whether you're brand new to cooking or looking to expand your skills. I offer guidance on everything from basic techniques and kitchen safety to exploring specific cuisines, including vegan and vegetarian dishes. My goal is to make cooking enjoyable, practical, and tailored to your tastes. We'll focus on recipes you'll actually use and loveno wasted ingredients, just real progress and good food. Whether you're here to master meal prep, understand flavor combinations, or simply learn how to cook for yourself, I'm here to help make it approachable and fun. Maths As a math tutor, I focus on making difficult concepts easier to understand by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student's unique learning pace, creating a supportive environment that encourages questions and builds confidence. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for math. Public speaking I am a confident and engaging public speaker with the ability to clearly communicate ideas to diverse audiences. Whether presenting in classrooms, leading group discussions, or speaking at events, I focus on clarity, structure, and connection. I tailor my tone and message to suit the audience, ensuring my delivery is both impactful and memorable.

I find joy in simple yet meaningful activities—reading, walking with dogs, learning, and tutoring. Books spark my curiosity and fuel my imagination. Long walks with dogs help me slow down and reflect. I’m passionate about learning new things and love sharing that knowledge through tutoring. These hobbies ground me, keep me curious, and connect me with others in purposeful ways.
