Dr. Jose Vidot is a Columbia University graduate, and lifelong educator with over 40 years of experience teaching and leading in both K12 and higher education. With advanced degrees in applied mathematics including a doctorate in Teaching and Learning Mathematics he has inspired students to learn and appreciate mathematics at every level, from middle school and high school classrooms to college lecture halls. Dr. Vidot was inspired to move towards college level teaching after seeing how many students struggled to complete their STEM degrees due to math barriers. Dr. Vidot made it his mission to make math clear, approachable, and empowering. He now offers personalized tutoring a service grounded in discipline, compassion, and a lifetime of service to others.
