About Me

I'm a southern gal by way of the North. Who has a passion for nursing, and everything nursing. Just to give you a little bit about me, my name is Geraldine but most people call me Gerri. I have worked in the medical profession in one way or another for over 30 years. Wow that's a long time. Most recently I've mentored fellow nurses transitioning to our department. I have worked as a preceptor to new graduates nurses, to help then to get a better understanding of time management, assessment and delegating to others within their scope of practice. I've also had the pleasure of volunteering for a organization called RN network. We work within the community to provide various senior citizens education regarding safety and wellness check-ups in their homes. Hobbies: writing, gardening, books, music, art, reading
