About Me

I am a Peruvian native with an MD degree from the University of San Marcos in Peru. I moved to the United States 30 years ago and have since worked as a Registered Nurse, Spanish Medical Interpreter, Spanish teacher for elementary aged kids in an after school program, and private Spanish tutor for high school students and adults. I enjoy teaching my mother language, Spanish, and I like the interest and effort that students place on learning Spanish. My teaching style is conversational; which ensures comprehension while adding personal touches to help with memory. I enjoy walking with my little dog, reading, watching action and drama movies, listening to classical music and traveling around the world. I have traveled throughout Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.
