About Me

I am currently in the final year of my MFA in Creative Writing program. I received a BA in English from Texas Tech in 2020 with minors in Spanish and Ethnic Studies. Writing is my biggest passion, and I have been a writing tutor across all subjects since 2018. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow in their writing and learning, and my favorite thing about tutoring is helping students build self esteem and empower themselves. When I'm not tutoring or in class, I love reading, making art, and hanging out with my cats.
