I am a Registered Nurse who graduated from an ABSN program in 2021. I would describe myself as extroverted/talkative! I love getting to know others through tutoring while keeping the energy light hearted as well. I believe that it is important to learn in a way that is enjoyable rather than a way that is forced. I have an additional B.S. in Biology. I graduated in the top 10% of my accelerated nursing program and I am extremely passionate about nursing. My first experience as a tutor was when I was 12 years old. I tutored students in my community who needed help with their school work. As I got older, my passion for tutoring continued to grow. I served as a tutor in school and free lanced tutored in my community. Throughout my nursing program, I served as a tutor. I tutored and continue to tutor in a wide variety of nursing subjects (Health Assessment, Nursing Fundamentals, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Med Surg I & II, Mental Health, Pediatrics, Maternal/OB-GYN, NCLEX prep, etc.) While I was a tutor, I really refined my teaching skills and strategies to best maximize my students learning experience. My tutoring/teaching philosophy is to curate my lesson plans to based on students learning/study patterns. My 10+ years of tutoring and has taught me how to succeed with many students who all have different learning styles and needs.
