I believe that it is important to learn in a way that is enjoyable rather than a way that is forced. I have an additional B.S. in Biology. I graduated in the top 10% of my accelerated nursing program and I am extremely passionate about nursing. My first experience as a tutor was when I was 12 years old. I tutored students in my community who needed help with their school work. As I got older, my passion for tutoring continued to grow. I served as a tutor in school and free lanced tutored in my community. Throughout my nursing program, I served as a tutor. I tutored and continue to tutor in a wide variety of nursing subjects (Health Assessment, Nursing Fundamentals, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Med Surg I & II, Mental Health, Pediatrics, Maternal/OB-GYN, NCLEX prep, etc.) While I was a tutor, I really refined my teaching skills and strategies to best maximize my students learning experience. My tutoring/teaching philosophy is to curate my lesson plans to based on students learning/study patterns. My 10+ years of tutoring and has taught me how to succeed with many students who all have different learning styles and needs.

My current hobbies include binge watching tv shows, exploring nature, and gardening. I am hoping to learn a new language throughout the next year!
