I am a certified family nurse practitioner who started out as an attendant and worked my way up through the field. I understand that where you start does not determine where you will finish. It takes a wise and strong individual to ask for help. The greatest mishandling of such requests is to view this as an inadequacy and fail to recognize the ability to be of service to others.
