I am a dedicated Special Needs/Elementary/Early Childhood teacher and administrator eager to enrich the lives emotionally, socially, and academically of students by imposing a motivational, enthusiastic, and nurturing environment to encourage the development of their skills. After receiving my BS in Elementary and Special Education, I have spent the last 34 years teaching in the early childhood classroom through 5th grade modifying and accommodating lesson plans to meet different learning styles. I'm passionate at meeting the individual needs of my students using various tricks in my toolkit and making learning fun, so they become curious to the world around them. My trainings do not stop in the classroom, but continue in the home with the family to provide consistency for the student to succeed. My husband and I recently moved back to Charlotte and I want to continue helping students become lifelong learners.

Reading, cooking, crafts, and most importantly my family! If I'm not playing in the kitchen with my grandchildren, you will find me reading a good book or baking for family.
