About Me

I love teaching. Moving a student toward their goal is most rewarding, as is discovering the tools to motivate the student. Giving those tools of learning to a student is exciting for all. My teaching spans middle school through technical college. English, Reading, and Writing are courses with which I have taught. I obtained my bachelors degree Radford College in Virginia and my masters degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Born in Pennsylvania, I have traveled and lived in a number of states and just recently returned to the Pittsburgh area:I love animals in general. My dog, Alexander the Great, aminiature doxie, has the spotlight now. We enjoy traveling around to all of the great dog parks available in this great city. I love sports. Skiing, tennis, jogging were a large partof my life. A severed ACL, which had been corrected through surgery and tons of therapy, convinced me to occupy myself with more laid back activities.
