About Me

I am a graduate of Texas A&M Commerce, Corsicana, Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Reading in 2002. A few years later I continued my education with a Masters of Education. I taught in a public school setting for 19 years before I retired to spend more time with my husband and grandchildren. The first 11 years I taught Social Studies, which I would consider my first love. I have spent most of my teaching career preparing students for Standardized Tests, with a focus on Reading and Writing. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and camping in our RV.
