About Me
I am a graduate of Bevill State Community College and will graduate with my BSN from Mercer University in 2022. I have been a RN for 21 years, the last 19 of which have been in oncology. I am currently an oncology nurse navigator and have a certification as a BMTCN (bone marrow transplant certified nurse). I completed the Woodruff Health Educators Academy Teaching Fellowship at Emory University and have a passion for teaching new CNAs, LPNs, and RNs about the profession. I have experience with the anatomy of national exams and have served on the Passing Score Task Force for the BMTCN exam with the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. I enjoy the learning process and being part of the student's journey to passing their exams and accomplishing their career goals. In my spare time, I like to watch HGTV (House Hunters International).
