I am a geologist and environmental scientist with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Geology from Brigham Young University (BYU). I have a passion for learning and and I hope to instill that desire to learn in the younger generations. However, and more importantly, I am a husband and father. I have two young children who have shaped me to become the best version of myself. Outside of work and family, I find myself really enjoying the outdoors and playing all kinds of sports. Put a racket or a ball in my hand and I'll always have a great time. As a tutor, I am here to share my love of geology and environmental science with students in need. My teaching philosophy revolves around helping students learn how to learn and how to love learning. I am a tutor to guide students in their learning path rather than be a fountain of information.
