About Me

I am a writer and recent MFA graduate in Creative Writing and Screenwriting from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I received my Honors Undergrad Bachelor of Arts Degree in English at University of Toronto, Canada. I have fiction editorial experience with the online literary journal, "Lunch Ticket," which highlighted talented Young Adult (High School level) writers, and have published an article there on Neurodiversity. I have also published poetry and produced a film that debuted at a film festival last year. I am always impressed by the imagination that young people bring to the field of writing and believe that a combination of determination and learning can lead to confidence in the study and production of English composition and essays. I have enjoyed working with students K-6 as well as high school and college level students and adults with mental health challenges. I also tutor young people after school in a program designed for newcomers to America. I promise to help students of any age to develop the confidence in their own abilities and skill level they require to succeed. I aim to inspire!
