About Me

I believe it to be a fantastic honor to be able to help anyone pursue their academic goals. I believe everyone is capable of learning at a high capacity, and I will work with you to find the best approach. I have extensive experience as a substitute teacher at the High-school level and have given private music lessons for a few years as well. Personally, I am most fond of teaching and tutoring anything related to English and Language Arts; although I am more than happy to assist in any of the subject areas I am qualified for. I am a senior at Eastern Michigan University in pursuit of a bachelor's in Secondary Education for Language, Literature and Writing, as well as a minor in Creative Writing. Outside of academia, I am passionate about listening to and playing music, reading and journaling, exercising and playing basketball. I believe in a dynamic tutoring style where we will gauge the goals of our sessions and then set an appropriate agenda to help us hit those goals in a timely manner.
