In the past I have taught kids ages 4-17 Karate, including kids with disabilities and kids from a special program called Kids Kicking Cancer. In my Junior year of college I lived in Tokyo for a year going to Waseda University, and even held a job teaching karate to Japanese students there as well. My language journey in Japanese was really rewarding and having achieved fluency in just about 3 years, I have many tips on how best to learn and retain Japanese. I'll give you supplemental resources outside of your classes or personals studies like pop culture, ways you can speak to real native speakers, and fun challenges to make your learning experience fun and memorable. Outside of tutoring, I like to play sports (rugby, basketball) and play the piano :)
