About Me

I have a lot of experience in the education field. I've worked as a classroom teacher, a college lecturer, a tutor, and even a school board member. I've been a school board vice president, and a non-profit chair, treasurer, and vice-chair. I have also served as the Sarajevo Subcommittee chair for the Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina subcommittee of the Dayton Sister City Committee. I'm also recently engaged and have two cats: Dude and Bunny (both girls). I love to travel, particularly to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hobbies include the occasional bird-watching expedition, riding my motorcycle or bike, creating artwork (particularly with wood or clay), practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and podcasting or playing music. In terms of how I can help you, I teach a variety of social studies subjects, including (but not limited to): history, economics, psychology, government, geography, and political science. I love each of these subjects and look forward to helping you. In addition to social studies I also love social media and have a TikTok account with 12,000 followers, so I love tutoring clients about how to make engaging viral content and strategies to grow your online presence.
