I completed advanced coursework in statistics as part of my master's degree. I am knowledgeable about introductory topics such as descriptive statistics, probability, t-tests, correlation, and analysis of variance. I am also knowledgeable about advanced topics such as multiple regression, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and psychometrics (reliability, validity, item analyses). I also have experience using statistical software such as the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and the R programming language. I am also passionate about helping others learn. While I was earning my Master of Arts in Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I was a teaching assistant for an undergraduate psychology research methods course and I mentored undergraduate students interested in working in the mental health field. I guided students through the process of completing their coursework and applying to graduate school. Helping students achieve their dream of becoming therapists was life changing! Learning statistics can be daunting but also rewarding! I look forward to guiding and supporting you through the process.
