I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Moderate Disabilities 5-12) from Westfield State University in 2016. I went on to receive my Master's Degree in Special Education (Severe Disabilities All Levels) from Bridgewater State University in 2019.Since finishing my undergraduate degree I have worked in both public and private schools, with a wide variety of ages and abilities. I have taught United States History, as well as work readiness, life skills, and academic support classes. One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each student as a learner. No two students are the same, and it is an exciting challenge to find what strategies work best for each student. IEPs and 504 plans act as a guide for each student, but I like to go deeper than that and find how I as a teacher can best connect the student to the material being studied.
