After 30 years in the corporate world, leading media and marketing departments, and working in the investment and banking industries, Mark entered teaching with a desire to be a positive influence and mentor to new generations. As a high school teacher, he has taught Marketing, Business, Professional Communications, and Leadworthy, an initiative designed for students with a goal to build up a community of remarkable leaders. Nicknamed "Mister Mark" by the thousands of students he has influenced, he is certified to teach Marketing, Speech, Business, Finance, Social Studies, and English Language Arts and Reading. He is technologically innovative but also uses old school methodologies such as Socratic teaching to encourage and model critical thinking in his students.

An avid songwriter, guitar player, and animator, "Mister Mark" brings an array of tools to his classroom.
