About Me

I am passionate about tutoring because it provides an opportunity to empower a student and help them to realize their strengths and combat their fears of learning and testing. While in nursing school, the second semester I failed. I sought help from instructors which was helpful for me to have the one-on-one time. I was afraid to ask questions during class and I had test anxiety. I did not know "how to study". I had to teach myself how to "read a textbook" without highlighting every single sentence; I had to teach myself how to "study"; how to "take tests" and how to decrease my test anxiety.
