About Me

Hola! I am an experienced college-level Spanish instructor ready to help boost your Spanish skills and confidence. I received a Masters in Hispanic Studies, with a focus on Spanish Linguistics and spent most of my graduate work studying foreign language acquisition, so I am prepared to clear up your confusions and help you learn Spanish more easily. I have been teaching Spanish at the university level for the last 4 years, and I have also tutored Spanish online. In addition to my classroom experience, I have honed my language skills through living in both Spain and Ecuador and traveling to Costa Rica and Peru. I have taught mostly beginner and intermediate level Spanish classes, but I'm here for all your Spanish questions- no matter your level! I believe feeling intimidated and lacking confidence can be huge hurdles to learning, so I strive to simplify concepts and make Spanish approachable and fun, so that you can be more comfortable, motivated and confident and therefore let learning happen! I am truly passionate about the Spanish language. After a few sessions with me, I'll bet you will be, too!
