While in grad school, I taught courses in statistics, political science, and history. My degree was in political science with a focus on statistical analysis, and I am now training to be a data scientist. For me it's a really fun challenge learning how a student sees a concept and how I can guide them to expand their understanding of it. Seeing a concept "click" with a student is one of the most rewarding feelings.

I spend as much time outside as I can, running, biking, camping or hiking. I also enjoy playing guitar and love losing myself in a good book.
