About Me

Hello! My name is Valeria Guzman and I am third-year college student at the Florida International University in Miami, FL. I am pursuing a BA in Communication Arts with an Arts and Performance discipline in addition to a professional certification in Global Media Communication and Journalism. My secondary and higher education has supported my experience and knowledge in subjects such as Writing and Rhetoric, Professional/Academic and Creative Writing, Literature, Public Speaking, Persuasion, Research, Social Sciences, American History, Artistic Expression, Theatre and Drama, Audition Prep and Voice Training. I am a strong writer and an effective oral and written communicator. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish and English! Former AP courses include: AP Human Geography (4), AP U.S HIstory (5), AP Literature and Composition (3), AP Government and Politics (5), and AP Macroeconomics (4)I have further experience in Journalism, Public Relations and Digital Marketing from local internships throughout my time as a college studentPerforming Arts credits include: In the Heights, Guys and Dolls, American Idiot, The Wedding Singer, and an original play based on the Peter Pan books (Peter and Wendy).One of my passions is teaching and helping others.
