I have always loved the sciences, and through my courses in college I have also gained a huge appreciation for math, and especially calculus. One of the most satisfying moments for me is when an idea finally "clicks" for a student and they suddenly understand the material much better. I always strive to make that happen. While in high school, I gained a year experience tutoring a classmate in AP Biology. In college I have aced my math courses, including Calculus 1 (differential) and Calculus 2 (integral). I earned very high scores on the ACT by practicing on my own and I consider myself a very good test taker, so I understand the techniques to get high scores on tests.

In my spare time, I love to go on long bike rides, exploring my local area and listening to music. I also like to cook and watch movies.
